On November 19, members of MUCC came together to give away 150 Thanksgiving turkey dinners that will feed up to 750 people in our community. Thanks to Jerry and Ginger Smothers for leading the charge again. Cars started lining up about 8:00 am to receive a free Thanksgiving dinner consisting of a turkey, potates, stuffing, cranberry sauce, green beans, and dessert. By 10:15, all 150 Thanksgiving dinners had been distributed and our hearts were full in the hopes our church community had made a difference in the lives of those having a difficult time this year.
